Ox Tech Week 2026, Oxford’s first city-wide technology and innovation festival, united founders, researchers, investors, and industry leaders.
A curated programme of flagships events spanned AI, robotics, biotech, green tech and emerging sectors at social venues in Oxford and surrounding innovation districts.
Oxford North was proud to support Ox Tech Week and help provide to showcase the region’s thriving innovation ecosystem as a global hub for science, technology and entrepreneurship.
Members of the Oxford North team attended various events across the four day programme of activity and we hosted two events at our innovation district.
Tour de Tech
Aligned to Ox Tech Week, Tour de Tech, enjoyed its annual flagship event, via a collaboration between Oxford Capital, Impact IP and Oxford North.
A record number of people took part in a cycling tour of Oxford’s innovation cluster; the cyclists started and finished the tour at Oxford North and enjoyed refreshments at Taylors Oxford North afterwards.
Tour de Tech is a monthly cycling networking movement that brings together the Oxfordshire tech sector connecting founders, investors, entrepreneurs and senior executives.
Drone Football
Oxford North also hosted a fantastic Drone Football event, via a venture under Oxford Innovation Education’s accelerator programme. The exciting concept blends technology, competition and community.
The initiative inspires and empowers young people of all backgrounds and abilities to build confidence, unlock potential and create pathways into future STEM careers.
The workshops consisted of short, high-impact sessions that introduced participants to drone technology through hands-on play.
Diverse ecosystem
The week reflected the energy and diversity of Oxford’s ecosystem, encouraging conversations that spark ideas, build connections, and inspire collaboration.

“Tech Week showcased the breadth and diversity of Oxford’s innovation ecosystem through workshops, panels, open houses and informal networking events. It was fantastic to see so many people supporting the week and gaining real value from the programme.”
Ox Tech Week was created by Dr Christiaan de Koning, and Michael Collyer, co-founders of Founders and Funders – the foundation that connects Oxford’s founders with leading investors and industry partners.
