Enabling life-changing discovery

We’re in a city for the curious, a home to the inventive, a place never afraid to welcome the challengers and disruptors, the heroes and heretics.

Oxford has a proud history of firsts, from the invention of penicillin to the COVID-19 response, connecting the world’s greatest minds making innovations today to change our world tomorrow.

We’re building a new place and laboratories in Oxford to help accelerate future discoveries.

We are now developing our plans for future phases and will continue with our public consultation work.

With outline masterplan and detailed phase 1a planning permission granted in March 2021, the first phases of labs, workspace, new homes, public park, new road, and sustainable drainage ponds are being delivered.

Recently we held a four-week public consultation on phase 2’s emerging designs for three new laboratories. The consultation closed on 8 December 2022.

You can read our Public Consultation Feedback Document_Phase 2 document for what you said and what we’re doing.
