23/05/2025

Oxford North is proud to become a sponsor of Oxford+ podcast season 3.

Oxford+, which was launched in 2024 and is available across all major podcast platforms, is delivered in partnership with Mishcon de Reya and hosted by Susannah de Jager.

The podcast series shares conversations and insights with investors, influencers and entrepreneurs who operate within and have an impact on the Oxford ecosystem and talk about what makes Oxford a powerhouse for innovation and explores its unique potential.

Each season has seen 10 interviews with past episodes that have included pre-eminent academics, investors and policy-makers including Dave Norwood, Dame Molly Stevens and Lord Lionel Tarassenko.

Season 3 is due to launch on Monday 26 May 2025 with the first interview with Jack Edmondson, chief investment officer, Oxford Science Enterprises building upon the interview with then incoming-chief executive officer Ed Bussey in 2024.

Oxford North is located on 64 acres of land in Oxford, OX2. It is due to open in autumn 2025 with the iconic landmark Red Hall and first two lab buildings along with Oxford’s new public park and amenities, to boost science and technology discovery. As a new mixed-use district, the first residents of the new homes in Canalside Quarter delivered by The Hill Group have moved in with further phases to follow.

Susannah de Jager, podcast host, Oxford+ said: “We are delighted that Oxford North is supporting our season 3 in this most pivotal year for them ahead of opening later this year. The ecosystem around Oxford is often thought of as the product of sheer intellect but the bricks and mortar and the physical spaces that nurture these companies are often just as important.

“Building innovation ecosystems that go beyond office or lab space - that bring peers together, create communal spaces for thinkers and communities alike, is increasingly a huge part of what differentiates scaling companies.”

Victoria Collett, development director at Thomas White Oxford, the development company of St John’s College, said: “Oxford+ podcast series honours the full spectrum of Oxford’s innovation ecosystem and, through Susannah's expertise and the calibre of her guests, offers invaluable insights and revelations. Whether you're in Oxford, connected to Oxford, or from anywhere across the globe, you'll gain a deeper understanding of this extraordinary place and the people tackling tomorrow’s biggest challenges.

"We are honoured to play our part in supporting Oxford+’s season 3, joining lead sponsor Mishcon de Reya, as we continue our mission of using placemaking to enable and help boost the next century of life-changing discoveries in science and technology right here in Oxford.”
